SimplyCalc (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates SimplyCalc.io. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our website.
Information We Collect
Calculator inputs: All calculations run entirely in your browser. We do not collect, transmit, or store any data you enter into our calculators. This information never leaves your device.
Usage analytics: We use standard web analytics to understand how visitors use our site in aggregate — which pages are visited, how long visitors stay, and which browsers and devices are used. This data is anonymised and never tied to individual users.
Contact enquiries: If you contact us, we collect your name, email address, and message content solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not add you to any mailing list without explicit consent.
Advertising and Cookies
We display advertisements via Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google’s Ad Settings. Our servers automatically record standard access logs (IP addresses, browser type, referring URLs) for security and performance purposes only.

Calculations and your data
All calculations on SimplyCalc run entirely in your browser using JavaScript. No calculation inputs or results are transmitted to our servers. We do not store what salary you entered, what mortgage amount you calculated, or any other calculation data. When you close the tab, the data is gone — unless you have used the calculation history feature, which stores your last five results per calculator in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device.
You can clear your calculation history at any time using the Clear button on each calculator page, or by clearing your browser's localStorage for this site through your browser settings.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site — which calculators are most used, where traffic comes from, and how people navigate between pages. Analytics only runs if you accept cookies via the consent banner. If you decline, no analytics data is collected. Google Analytics does not receive any of your calculation inputs or results.
Google AdSense
SimplyCalc displays advertising through Google AdSense. AdSense uses cookies to show relevant ads based on your browsing history and interests. You can opt out of personalised advertising through Google's Ad Settings at adssettings.google.com. If you decline the cookie consent banner, personalised ads will not be shown.
Your rights
Under GDPR and UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data we hold about you. Since SimplyCalc does not store personal data on our servers, there is typically nothing to access or delete.
